Here’s a great article by Prof. Hulsmann over at LewRockwell.com on the 4 positions Libertarians take towards Christianity and religion in general. I appreciated Prof. Hulsmann’s style of speaking down at Mises U, he became one of my favorite professors by the end of the week. And now to read this article is fascinating. I’m here to inform you that I won’t be posting today. Actually, I’ve just told a lie because this post is contradicting what I just said. I am indeed, posting today. What I meant was, I won’t be posting a long rant, or anything like that. I have an econ class to teach today, so I will be busy with gummy bears, sour gummy worms and “Good and Plenty” licorice. “God Bless Our Troops”

I seem to have a problem with this phrase. Some will argue that it is because the troops are risking their lives. I can agree with that. I can admire their courage in doing so. But according to several articles I’ve looked at, fishermen, loggers, and pilots have the most dangerous job. Here, read it yourself. So, theoretically, we ought to have little stickers on our cars saying, “God Bless Our Fishermen,” and “God Bless Our Loggers.” Yeah, it doesn’t have the same sort of feeling as “God Bless Our Troops.” But from a purely economic perspective loggers, fishermen and…

I still cannot believe how wonderful my computer is. I just love my ArachnoMac…and am constantly discovering new gadgets. For instance, I can take video and pictures, add effects (black and white, etc…) and with ONE click, publish it to Facebook. For your information, I hate uploading pictures and videos through Facebok. Don’t ask me why, I just do. I don’t do it any more than I must. Chicago Seminar Report

Firstly, I’m extremely tired. I woke up at 3.45am this morning so we could catch the train from Harvard to Chicago. It has been a long day, but very rewarding. The seminar this morning was great. We had a good turnout, and I think it went really well. Kudos to Justin and Chris for their work in putting it together. Despite some confusion and difficulty with computers, powerpoints, projects, etc…at the beginning, we managed to make it work smoothly.
