So my music habits lately have been pretty eclectic. You know how sometimes you hear a band and think, “eh, that’s not too bad” but then later you hear them and think, “wow, this is just beautiful.” That’s how I’m feeling with Sigur Rós, an Icelandic band. I’ve heard them a few times before, in fact they were suggested to me because they’re similar to Future of Forestry, in some ways. I’ve been like, “okay, they’re a pretty decent band,” but then I stumbled upon their music again this week and it resonated very deeply with me. The sound is quite unique (what else would you expect from an Icelandic band?) and I grant that it may not become everyone’s new favorite band, but I wanted to share it anyway! : )
