TSA Chief Defends Airport Screening Procedures

From the article, when asked if the TSA would allow people to opt out of both due to religious beliefs the TSA administrator replied, “While I respect and we respect that person’s beliefs, that person’s not going to get on an airplane.” Nice. There’s no way to get out of it. And it makes me so angry to hear people like Joe Lieberman, “”I understand the privacy sensitivities,” said Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT). “Of course it’s awkward, it’s unusual. “On the other hand, the overwhelming majority of us, we get on those planes and we want to have the confidence that nobody on the plane has evaded security in a way that will allow them to blow up the plane and kill everybody else on it. So this is unfortunately the world in which we live.”” Ugh. You won’t catch me flying while the TSA still exists. http://www.npr.org/2010/11/16/131373145/tsa-chief-defends-airport-screening-procedures?ft=1&f=1001

  1. This is a fantastic argument. Of course having our bodies exposed to complete strangers is “sensitive” at the very least. Furthermore, most of the people that come up with these demeaning and humiliating practices do not have to go through the same treatment. I am absolutely positive that those TSA workers have children they must feel that this is “what must be done for the greater good” Much like a brain washed, pro-abortion women standing in line, or the Bilderburgs (SP?) meeting for involuntary population control, they think they are doing the right thing.

I think that we can stand up for these issues against our freedom all that we like and make strides here and there surely, because at this point God is stilling reigning over Earth. Of course we know there will be a time when He will allow Satan to rule and at that point I think our best bet would be to pull ourselves out of society. Yes, we are citizens of this country. Of course, this is just my opinion, but I don’t believe that those freedoms of being an “American” where ever meant for those of us that are saved. Maybe I am wrong.
